Irene E. Aldridge, 79 of St. Albans went home to be with the Lord and late husband Carlos E. Aldridge on Monday November 30, 2009 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
Born July 30, 1930 in Richmond, VA, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Florence Elizabeth Hager Harper.

In addition to her parents and husband Carlos, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Sue Aldridge and six siblings.

She is survived by
her daughter, Joyce A. Collins of St. Albans;
son, Daniel Eugene Aldridge and his companion, Amanda Lail;
grandchildren; Amanda Aldridge Hardin and husband Dennis, Jessica Aldridge Pasquale and husband Mario, Travis Aldridge all of Valdese, NC and Adrienne Ann Galloway of Charleston;
4 great-grandchildren;
sisters and brothers-in-law, Thelma Josephine Milam and husband Clint of Culloden, Phyllis Higginbotham and husband Bob of Black Betsy and Jenny Stanley and husband Larry of Ohio;
many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, 409 Sixth Avenue, St. Albans with Rev. Walter Allen officiating. Burial in Teays Hill Cemetery, St. Albans.
