Inez Bloemker, 85, died on March 9, 1999 in Springfield, Illinois. She was born in Sailor Springs, Illinois on January 4, 1914, the daughter of John J. and Lena Koehler Zimmermann. On April 3, 1934, she married Alvin W. Bloemker in Breese, Illinois. He preceded her in death on December 12, 1990.
Mrs. Bloemker was a homemaker, a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ in Highland, the church's Women's Guild; Woodmen of the World; and the St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Darvin (Delores) Bloemker of Macomb; a daughter Gloria (Robert) Schwarz of Springfield, Illinois; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Oliver H. Zimmermann; and a sister, Irene Mutzner.
