The death of this well known resident occurred at his late residence No. 6
Crescent avenue on Thursday. He had been sick about two weeks with pneumonia.
He was born in Lynne, Conn., and had resided in New Rochelle for over
eighteen years. For several years he held the position of night baggage master
of the New York, New. Haven & Hartford Railroad Depot in this city. A few years
ago he relinquished the position and took up a general hacking business at the
depot here. He was a member of Flandreanx Post 509, G. A.R.
His funeral will take place from his late residence to-morrow afternoon at one
o'clock. Rev. Mr. Paulson will conduct the services. Interment will be made in
Beechwood Cemetery. Deceased leaves a widow and several grown children.
