Lyons, GA - Mrs. Bulah "Mae" Mosley, age 88 claimed her place in Heaven on June 16, 2012. Mae was born in Lyons on September 15, 1923 to Mack Coy Cox and Mary Cranford Cox. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, George "Buddy" Mosley.

Mae was a hard worker, learning new skills and applying them throughout her life. She started out on the soda fountain at Walgreens. In the 1940s she supported the war effort as a riveter and later retired as a seamstress at the Oxford Manufacturing. She loved contributing to her community so much that she spent many of her ‘retirement' years working in the cafeterias of the schools in Lyons. Mae was a devoted wife and her favorite job was being a mother and grandmother. A firm believer in education, Mae earned her general education diploma in the mid 1970s, becoming a high school graduate.

Mae loved the Lord with all of her heart. She was a devout Baptist and a member of East Gordon Street Baptist Church for over 50 years.

Mrs. Mosley is survived by four children and their spouses, Elizabeth and Earl Miller, Patricia and Pat Buice, Shirley and Dan Edwards and George and Cindy Mosley, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 21st at 10:00 am in the East Gordon Street Baptist Church with Reverend Rick Wilson and Reverend Dane Glisson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery of Savannah.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

To honor Mae's memory and commitment to a life of faith, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Gordon Street Baptist Church.
