James E. Brauer of Jamison died May 3, 2009, at home. He was 50.

Born in Abington, he was the son of Geraldine M. and the late George W. Brauer Jr.

He will most be remembered for his sense of humor, unique and profound insight, his individuality and good common sense, generosity, friendship, and love of life. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and pets, Tigger and Lucky.

Mr. Brauer graduated from Central Bucks High School East in 1977.

He enjoyed computers, working with electronics and playing the guitar with family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by six brothers, George W. Brauer III of Doylestown, Harry S. Brauer of Hilltown, Charles M. Brauer of East Rockhill, William R. Brauer of Jamison, David A. Brauer of Doylestown and Robert S. Brauer of Dublin; and three sisters, Florence M. Grasley of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Evelyn T. Schultz of Bartlett, Tenn., and Jean L. Herstine of Bedminster.

A funeral Mass was celebrated May 8 at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church in Jamison. Interment was in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
