Delbert Leroy Cook Lansing Passed away on June 16, 2012 at the age of 76. Delbert was born on February 2, 1936 in Lansing, MI to Clifford Cook and Lucinda "Dorriell" Cook. He was raised in Lansing and lived there his entire life. Delbert went to work for General Motors Fisher Body at the age of 18 and worked there for 38 years before retiring. He loved to spend time with his family and friends; playing cards and going on fishing trips. Delbert is preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. Surviving Delbert are his wife of 23 years, Vera Ann Cook; children, Geraldine, Mary, Iva Sheila, Laurie, Delbert Jr., Roland, Michael; his many Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; brothers, Clifford (Kay) Cook, Laverne (Vickie) Cook, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., burial following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
