Christopher Lee Stinnett, 32, of Kissing Ridge Road, died Friday, July 23, from injuries sustained in an accident.

He was an employee of Stratton Lumber and a member of Mount Beulah United Methodist Church. He was the son of Brutus and Catherine Stinnett.

Additional survivors include brothers and sisters and their spouses, Brutus and M.J. Stinnett Jr. of Nicholasville, Nina Granger of Sadieville, Ronnie and Cary Stinnett of Nicholasville, Cathy and Robert Parsley of Tennessee, and John and Jennifer Stinnett of Virginia; two stepchildren, Jenny and Jessica Corman of Nicholasville; his fiance, Dixie Hoskinson, with whom he was expecting his first child; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Harrison officiating. Burial was at Mose Reynolds Cemetery.

Bearers were John, Ronnie and Jamie Stinnett, Brutus Stinnett Jr., Jason Brock and Eldon Perkins. Honorary bearers were Kevin and David Fogle, Brad Tussey, Tommy and Brian Granger, Josh Duncan, Doug Smothers, Harold Smith, Nelson Bottoms, Bill Baker, Carey Stinnett, Tim Gil and Darrell Stinnett.
