Obituary

Earl F Kutcher, 68, of Oxford passed away Sunday evening at University Hospitals following a lengthy illness. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, Dec 31 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Oxford with the Rev. James T Lawrence officiating. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Kutcher was born Jan. 24, 1918 in Johnson County. He is the son of Michael and Alice Sedlacek Kutcher. He had been a Johnson County farmer and also worked at Morgan's Plumbing and Heating. Most recently he was a machinist at Amana Refrigeration.

He was married to Adeline Fisher on April 15, 1936 at Oxford. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oxford and he was a former Oxford town marshal.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, James F. of Iowa City and Larry M. of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Marie Kahler of Oxford and Rita M. Shock of Moline, Ill; 23 grandchildren; eight great grand children; a brother, Raymond of Iowa City a sister, Leona Koenighain of Williamsburg.

A brother and daughter preceded him in death. Funeral arrangements by George L Gay Funeral Home.
