Veteran of the Spanish American War.

Son of Patrick and Margaret of Ireland. They came
to Graceville, MN. by 1880. His dad was born in 1836 and passed Oct 15, 1908. His mother was born 1837 and passed Nov 21, 1913 in Big Stone Co.

When his dad was 27, he enlisted in Company E. Mass 9th Infantry,

He registered for the draft in Big Stone CO., MN. on Sept 12, 1918.

In 1920 he was a farmer in Bass Lake, Sawyer Co. There were 3 children: Clyde, Wayne and Mary.

Being born in 1876, he was a Centennial Baby. He had at least 2 grandchildren that carried on that tradition, being born 100 years later in 1976, Patrick and Christina Dwyer, Bicentennial Babies.
