Louise Youngblood
Louise Anna Youngblood, daughter of George C. and Sophia Peters Grueber was born September 12, 1910 near Byron and died at the Republic County Hospital, Belleville, February 1, 1984, at the age of 73 years, four months and 20 days.
She was baptized at St. Peter Lutheran Church near Byron on September 15,1910 by Pastor Fred Schardt. She was confirmed under Pastor Seyboldt on August 30, 1925.
She received her education at Prairie View School at Hardy, Nebr.
February 20, 1946, she was united in marriage with Arthur M. Youngblood, jr. by his father, Pastor A. M. Youngblood, and to this union two children were born.
She spent most of her life in Deshler. In 1977 she moved to Courtland, Kansas to be near her daughter and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include her daughter Mrs. Elgin (Linda) Saunders, Courtland; one son, Arthur; one granddaughter, Angel Lee Saunders; one sisters (sic), Mrs. Walter (Josephine) Bohling of Byron, Nebr.; four brothers: Elia Grueber of Hubbell, Clarence Grueber of Chester, Haroldine Grueber of Hebron and Marvin Grueber of Loveland, Colo.
Services were held at Peace Lutheran Church in Deshler February 4 with Pastor F. Delmar Klover officiating. Burial was in Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
