Frank enlisted at the age of 19 on 5 Nov 1862 with Co. B 9th Mn Inf and was promoted to Corporal. He was wounded in the battle of Nashville and died 24dec1864.

Note: There is another marker at New Albany National Cemetery, New Albany, Floyd Co., Ind (fag 3284107)according to "Descendents of Steward Kee" compiled by Kee Roder and Sherry Champlin. He is buried at New Albany National cemetery in Indiana
on the same marker as the other two

I noticed this civil war soldier is buried at a national cem. Oakland cemetery records do have him listed as "battle wounded" and place of death as "Nashville, TN" He also has a plot,
Section A, blk 38, lot 009 N 1/2, grave 10. In the same section, blk and lot but with different grave #'s are:
Milie A. (grave 2)
Rhonda (grave 6)
William B. (grave 8)
Sarah S. (grave 9)
John II (grave 10)

FRANK MORTIMER HARRINGTON, eldest child of Wm. Bradford and Sarah
(Cowles) Harrington, was born January 17, 1844 at Greene, Trumbull County, Ohio.
He was about eight years of age when his parents moved to Minnesota. He was in
the army during the Civil War, and the inscription on the monument in the
Hutchinson, Minn, cemetery where he is buried says of him:
"Wounded at the battle of Nashville, Tenn. Dec. 14, and died
Dec. 24, l864. Co. B 9th Minn. Inf. 16 A.G."
His death is said to have occurred at New Albany, Indiana. He was not married.
