Ms. Demetria "Punky" Williams, 24, of 2940 Colorado St., Columbus died November 21, 2008 at the Medical Center Hospital. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at St. Peter Claver Cemetery, Holy Trinity, AL. Visitation will be Monday, November 24, 2008 from 1 - 8 PM, according to Taylor Funeral Home. Ms. Williams was born June 1, 1984 in Columbus, GA to Jeanette Williams and Mel Forte, both of Columbus, GA. She was employed with AFLAC and was a member of St. Benedict Catholic School, Columbus, GA. Other than her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Shamika Williams and Leslie Johnson, both of Columbus, GA; nephew, Tariq Isom; niece, Lillian Harris; four aunts, Mozell Quarles (Leo), Nell King (Rev. Dave), Verdell Wyatt and Anna Parrish (Harvey); uncle, Coefield Forte (Shirley); two great aunts, Delores Williams and Madell Appling; two great uncles, Charles Williams (Barbara) and Ernest Williams (Lucille); two special friends, Alfonzo Williams and Mrs. Nellie Tarver; a host of other relatives and friends.
