Mr. Jacob Jay Brown, 74, of Brunson died on Thursday, March 17, 1994 in Hampton General Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Brown was born in Hampton County on April 14, 1919. He was a son of the late Henry K. Brown and Mourning Honor Roberts Brown. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are: His wife, Mrs. Margaret Deloach Brown of Brunson; one son, Robert J. Brown of Hampton, two Daughters, Mrs. Alice B. Hazel of Brunson and Mrs. Gayle Jo Etta Nix of Yemassee; one brother, Pat Brown of Varnville; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Honor Petorock of Beaufort. There are 10 Grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 3pm, in the sniders cemetery. It was directed by the Peeples Rhoden Funeral Home.
