She died Thursday at her residence on Limestone Street following an illness of six weeks. She was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church and wife of R. W. Martin.
Survivors included the following children: B. C., G. C., W. D., J. A., J. E., P. J. Martin, Mrs. Grady Clary and Mrs. O. L. Painter, 68 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren. She was 82 years of age at her demise.
