Mr. J.I. Caneer of Montebello, father of Omar Caneer of the Willard Service Station, died at the Covina hospital last Friday, July 5, following an operation for a cancerous growth. Service was held at the Morritz funeral home, Montebello, at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon with internment in Whittier Heights Cemetery. Mrs Vernon Johnson sang at the funeral.

Surviving are the widow and four children, Mr. Omar Caneer of Covina, Mr. Fernando Caneer of Beverly Hills, Mrs. Eunice Aldrich and Mrs. Vernice Holifield of Montebello.
