Eleanor E. Campbell, 87, of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Sayre Health Care Center with her family by her side.
She was born on August 11, 1924 in Sayre, PA the daughter of the late James Merton and Lyda May West Everett.
Eleanor graduated from VanEtten Central High School and Robert Packer School of Nursing Class of 1945. She was a Registered Nurse with Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre House, and Heritage Nursing Home, retiring in 1990. Eleanor was a member of the Athens United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank D. Campbell, 2000.
Eleanor is survived by her children Elaine (Gary) Wilson of Athens, PA, Robert (Carole) Campbell of Richmond, VA, Norman (Sharon) Campbell of Forest City, PA, Frank, Jr. (Amy) Campbell of Wallingford, CT, James(Conlis) Campbell of Athens, PA, Douglas Campbell of Scranton, PA, Elizabeth Karoby of Emmaus, PA, Carol Campbell of Windsor Locks, CT, Catherine Campbell of Windsor, CT, and Joan Brignola of Athens, PA, numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, and brother Eugene Everett of Fremont, CA.
Friends and family may call on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 11am – 1pm at the Athens United Methodist Church, 118 South Main Street, Athens, PA. Funeral Services will follow at the Church at 1pm with the Rev. Aaron Campbell and Rev. Adam Campbell co-officiating. Nicki Campbell will present the Eulogy.
Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA at the convenience of the family.
