Along with her parents, Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Willard C. Bailey; baby daughter, Anell Bailey; sisters, Mildred Matthews, Mayola Collins, and Novena Hammond; and brothers, Wilford, J. B. “Ben”, James “Jimmy”, Russell, Lee C., and Cecil Roberts.
Lou is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Ann Bailey; grandsons, Chris & Darlene Bailey and Mitchell & Christine Bailey; great-grandchildren, Michael, Brooke, Amber, and Tyler Bailey; and brother, Frank Roberts.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS. Funeral service will begin at noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Van Carpenter and Bro. Brad Robertson officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris, Michael, Mitchell, and Tyler Bailey, Rusty Roberts, and Carroll Robertson. Honorary pallbearers will be Craig Bailey, Tracy George, Brandon George, Maurice Hulbert, Marshall Vaughan, and Billy Matthews.
The family would like to give special thanks to Deaconess Home Health nurses and aides for the special care given to Lou over the past year. To We Care Hospice: You all were so caring and attentive, and made her last month and a half so peaceful and loving.
