He was also a very talented artist. In addition, he helped produce local shows in South Bend. His daughter Jeanne did the choreography for the productions (many involving shows done by Notre Dame boys).
Edmund was predeceased by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. August Chevraux. He was survived by his wife, Lillian Wilhelmina (née Rundt) Chevraux; his daughters, Marilyn Jeanne (Elmer "Al") Kovats of Des Moines, IA, and Rita (Sherwood) Brown of Manhattan Beach, CA. Also surviving him were his granddaughters, Barbara Kovats, S.L. Brown, Valerie Brown and Jenifer Brown and his grandsons, Thomas Kovats and J. Scott Brown.
