At an early age he professed a hope in Christ joining New Liberty Baptist Church where he was baptized.
Kenny was a loving son, father, grandfrather, brother, uncle and friend who instilled confidence in all. He could convincee you that water was not wet or that you were the best thing coming and going. Kenny was devoted and protective of his friends, they trusted he would be there when they needed him.
He was employed with Nationwide Warehouse for fourteen years before moving on to Ramada Inn where he retired after twenty-two years of service.
Kenneth Lee Starks Sr. departed this life on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the age of fifty-eight years, two months and eighteen days. He was proceded in death by his mother, Mae Lee Thompson Starks and brother Charles Edward Starks, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Loretta Scott-Starks, son Kenneth Lee Starks, Jr, two daughters, Kenya and Kayla Starks and many others whose lives he touched that referred to him as Dad; three grandchildren, Kenneth Lee Starks III, Kennesha Starks and Kenniah Starks, father, Charles E. Starks Sr, six sisters, Charlene Johnson, Shirley and Odena Starks, Tonya Rankin (Duanne), Jennifer Thomas (John) and Vickie Johnson (Daryl); ten nephews, ten nieces, eighteen great-nephews, nine great-nieces, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, loving relatives and friends.
