"Bud" was born in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, the son of Edward and Ruth (Meldrum). He was employed in the Water Department for the City of Mount Clemens. He served in the US Army during World War II, where he was awarded the Bronze Star, Silver Star and the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Juggle-Up Club, the Old Crowd, AMVETS, and a lifetime member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Irene, and his children, Michael, Yvonne and Scott.
