Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Ella Eller McLin Flynn, 73, who died August 2. She was the daughter of the late William and Cordelia Meece Eller.
Born October 18, 1885, she was united in marriage to William McLin in 1905, and three sons were born to the union. Mr. McLin and one son preceded her in death. She later married S.D. Flynn and three children were born to this union. Mr. Flynn also preceded her in death.
In 1905 she became a member of the Fishing Creek Baptist Church and later moved her membership to Piney Grove where she was a member at the time of death.
She is survived by three sons; Orville McLin, Lafayette, Ind., Beecher McLin, Nancy, Dea Flynn, Indianapolis, Ind., two daughters; Mrs. Irene Devault, Farmer City, Ill., and Mrs. Jean Tarter, Cains Store, two brothers; Jess and Jim Eller, Attica, Ind., two sisters; Mrs. Dorothy Haymond and Maggie Eller, Attica, Ind.; 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at the Mr. Zion Baptist Church, Cains Store, with the Rev. Lloyd Sewell, the Rev. M.C. Loveless, and the Rev. Bert Whitaker officiating. Burial was in the Piney Grove No. 2 Cemetery.
