Funeral services for Myrtle Wharff, 70, will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Spring Glen Ward Chapel. She died Monday, May 23,1977 In a Salt Lake City hospital.
A brother, Era B. Gibbons, is a resident of Lehi.
Born Sept. 23,1906 in Benjamin to Smith Gibbons and Martha Medora May hew, she married John Henry Wharff on Jan. 4, 1925. The marriage was later solemnized in the Mantl LDS Temple. He died on Aug. 8,1963.
Mrs. Wharff had worked in the Relief Society and Primary for many years.
Survivors include three sons, Wendell G. Wharff, Helper; D. Ray Wharff and Ben C. Wharff, both Salt Lake City 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren ; one brother and one sister Era B. Gibbons, Lehi, and Mrs. Rulon (Martha) Hunt, Torrey, Wayne County.
Friends may call Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Faucett Mortuary, and Friday one hour prior to services at the ward chapel. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Helper Utah
