Born to Borleas and Sarah (Howarth) Fielding, sister to Margaret(Runcorn), Sarah(Longshaw),John b.1831 #83987066,Borleas b.1834 #91107551,and Ruth(Coates). Lived in the Manchester area all of her life that we can tell. She was baptized 1 March 1826 at the Cathedral, Manchester church. She married John Bennett 3 January 1849 at St Mary's Church Manchester. They had 5 children, John 1858-1895 (91965071), Mary(Livingston) 1860-1915 (91145558), William 1863-1919 (91145185), Henry 1865-1930 (91965675), and James 1868-1913 (91145043). John was obviously a kind man. Amelia's father Borleas was a Publican and John's father was a Fustian Cutter. We believe he owned a furniture business of some kind. In the 1881 Census Amelia lives at 7 Roseamond Place, still has the business, and is listed as a Widow. After she dies her son's go to live with their sister Mary Bennett Livingston. Find My Past.com shows Amelia being buried in Manchester Cheetham Hill Wesleyan Cemetery which we all know the story. I believe John her husband was buried there also, but cannot verify this.
