He was born Oct. 10, 1918, in Nappanee, to Ezra P. and Sarah A. (Metzler) Bleile. On May 18, 1941, he married Iris "Maxine" Hirseman. She died May 26, 2000. He married Florence Miller on July 21, 2001. She died Nov. 28, 2001.
Mr. Bleile is survived by two daughters, Rita K. (Donald) Berger and Marianne (Edward) Neufeldt, both of Wakarusa; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jamie Neufeldt Harman; and seven siblings, Earl, John and Paul Bleile, Mabel Yoder, Elsie Albin, Grace Miller and Ruth Sherman.
A 1936 graduate of Nappanee High School, Mr. Bleile was a member of Nappanee Missionary Church, Creative Survivors Grief Support Group, Goshen, and Menno Singer. He retired after 20 years of service from Holiday Rambler.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa, and one hour prior to Thursday's 10:30 a.m. funeral service at Wakarusa United Methodist Church. Pastor Ed Geleske of the church, and Pastor Marv Engbrecht of Nappanee Missionary Church will officiate. Burial will be in Olive (West) Cemetery.
