Susan Novella Sanders Beach Grant Decker, 97, of Grants Pass died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Royale Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Calvary Lutheran Church with Don Carlson, pastor, officiating. Private interment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Oct. 23, 1901, in McMinnville, Tenn. She moved to Cave Junction in 1984 from San Marcos, Calif. In 1986, she moved to Grants Pass.
Decker was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
Her hobbies included writing poetry and landscape painting.
Survivors include a son, Bob Beach of Grand Junction, Colo.; two daughters, Jean Buford of Cassville, Mo., and Beryl Powers of Cave Junction; and nine grandchildren. Her husband, John, died before her.
