Meints
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church at Sterling for Mrs. Opal Meints, 66, of the Vesta-Sterling vicinity who died this morning at a Tecumseh hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Albert; two sons, Melvin of Sterling and Dale of Klamath Falls, Ore.; one daughter, Mrs. Russell (Mary Lou) Larimore, Lincoln; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Herbert Dellarhide of Red Wood City, Calif., and a half-brother, Charles Gordon, Sterling. The Rev. Kenneth Rusk, will officiate at services and burial will be in the Sterling Cemetery. The body will lie in state from noon until time of service. A memorial has been established to the church, with Mr. Tom Remmers in charge.
