Mrs. Lucina Catherine Ball, aged 96, of Greene township, died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the home of her brother, Henderson McClellan, 529 South Columbia Street, after a five-month illness.
She was born in Ohio August 07, 1846 and had lived in this vicinity 79 years, coming from Ohio.
Her marriage to Rev. Charles A. Ball, Methodist minister, took place March 9, 1870.
He died 25 years ago.
Surviving are two brothers, Henderson McClellan, in whose home she died, and James A. McClellan, Greene township.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Hartman funeral home in Lakeville, this county. Burial will be in the Sumption Prairie cemetery.
