Edward George Lohrman, a native of New York State, was born to William and Mary Gaedke Lohrman, both natives of Germany. They emigrated to the U S in abt 1870.

Edward was born in New York; he is found living in Manhattan at the 1880 census, enumerated with his parents, two brothers, his fraternal grandfather and an uncle. He is also found with his family at the 1910 census, now living in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Edward appears to have moved to the Pacific Northwest shortly after the 1910 census as he married Frances Lohrman 26 Dec 1912 in Seattle, King County, Washington. As far as I know, there were no children.

According to his brief obituary, he was an Army veteran of the Spanish-American War in 1898. Edward registered for the WWI Army draft 12 Sep 1918 in Seattle, King County, Washington, though I do not believe that he saw active duty at that time.

Edward G Lohrman was a plumber by trade and was employed by Eckert Bros in Seattle at the time he registered for the WWI draft. Their residence at the time he registered for the draft was 122 Filmore Street in Seattle.
