Lois Carol Counts,60 of Kirksville passed away Saturday( Dec 20 2008) at University Hospital in Columbia.
The daughter of Elijah and Bessie (Kavanaugh)
Radford, she was born July 18, 1948 in Centerville, Mo. She attended school in Centerville and graduated from the Centerville High School in 1966. She recieved training and became a Med Tech and CNA. She worked as a Med Tech and CNA in the Chillicothe area for many years.
Lois loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, plants and dogs.
She is survived by her children, Christopher E. Todd of Centerville, Mo., J.R. Risher and wife Sara of Novinger, Mo., and Jackie N. Dorris and husband Daniel of Kirksville; seven grnadchildren, Harold, Karlie and Kay C. Todd, Nicki and Janelle Dorris, Tristan and Chasten Risher; ex husband and life long friend and father of J.R. and Jackie, Marvin Risher of Novinger, Mo.; three brothers, Furman Radford of Steelville, Mo., Everett Radford of Centerville,Mo., and Gene Radford of Centerville, Mo.one sister Viola Self of Ellington, Mo. and several neices and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, one brother James Radford, and one sister Jan Fleming.
