Daughter of Marcus Arelius Bierce and Laura Sherwood. Married her first husband, Henry C Pittenger in April 1853 in Kosciusko Co, IN. Her second husband was William Davis, whom she married 5 July, 1868 in Gallia, Ohio and her third husband was Alexander Daniel Pittenger, whom she married in March 1878. Her first and third husbands were brothers.

Thank you to Find A Grave contributor Sue Lewis for info on her second husband.

From Find A Grave contributor Linda:
GGGrandma Almeda had a third daughter, Laura Ella Pittenger, who went by the name of Ella. She was born 1858 and died 1862. Her marker had a lamb with a cross on it and was directly in front of her mother and father's stone. In the 1980s the marker broke off and was lying in the grass. I propped it up against her mother's stone. Upon my next visit to the area, it was nowhere to be found, despite hours of searching through Oakwood's broken markers.
