Wilbert Bertschinger, 86, 7802 Horseshoe Bay Rd., Egg Harbor, died Jan. 6 in Illinois. The Rev. Rychie Breidenstein conducted services Monday at Calvary United Methodist Church, Egg Harbor. Burial was at the Egg Harbor Town Cemetery. The Davis Mortuary handled arrangements.
He was born in Milwaukee May 24, 1902 to John and Anna Bertschinger and live most of his life in Egg Harbor. Prior to retirement he was part owner of a lumber yard and resort.
Oct. 13, 1933 he married Agnes Delcorp (should be spelled Delcorps) in Waukegan, IL., and she preceded him in death in 1975.
Surviving are children Mrs. Wayne (Barbara) Mueller, Milwaukee, Mrs. Charles (Eleanor) Goss, Northbrook, IL, John, Anaheim, CA, Richard, Milwaukee, James, Hanover Park, IL, Mary, Evanston, IL, and Jane, Prairie Du Sac. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild, a brother, Arthur, Sturgeon Bay, and a sister Mrs. Carl (Clara) Anderson, Sturgeon Bay.
