KERRVILLE - Sidney Eppes "Sid" Harris, 96, died Wednesday, July 7, 1999, in a local care center.
Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Arrangements are by Kerrville Funeral Home.
He was born July 12, 1902, in Knox County. He was a farmer, a salesman and the former owner and operator of Harris Men's Store. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Kerrville Lions Club, Texas Lions Camp for Crippled Children and International Lions Club Association.
Survivors include his wife, Dott Harris of Kerrville; a son, the Rev. Boyd Harris of Kerrville; two daughters, Joanne Minor of San Benito and Sybil Thomas of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
