Norman Leroy Wagoner, 74, was born on August 22, 1937 in Hays, Kansas to Lee and Lucille Wagoner. After graduating high school, Norman served in the army and worked several jobs including the railroad and Skelly Oil Company until 1974, when he moved to Eufaula and opened Wagoner's Hardware store on Main Street. In 1984, Norman sold the business to devote his life to full-time mission work. Norman served North American Mission Board in more than nine different countries. Norman was a Charter Member of the first Oklahoma Disaster Relief team, where he was the volunteer training coordinator for the remainder of his life. Norman was awarded the Robert E. Dixon award for serving 38 years in Disaster Relief where he ministered in over 40 locations. Norman was a founding father of World Changers, he served with the Baptist Builders, he taught RA's, and was the Men's Ministry Brotherhood leader for 6 years. He was a member of North Fork Baptist Church. Norman began walking the streets of gold on June 13, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Marvin and Robert Wagoner; and his first wife, Martha. Norman is lovingly survived by his wife, Flo of the home; daughter, Ramona Mays of Eufaula, OK, granddaughter Christina Jackson and her husband Ken, great-granddaughter, Haylee Jackson all of Cicero, IN and granddaughters, Victoria Mays of Eufaula and Laura Mays of Cicero, IN; son, Norman L. Wagoner and his wife Susie of Bismark, AR, granddaughters, Tera Herington and her husband Michael of Bryant, AR, Allyssa Wagoner of Crookston, MN; three step-daughters, Connie Willeford of Garland, TX, Kay Garrison, and Gwen Lee both of Oklahoma City, OK. Also surviving are a brother, Darrell and his wife Mary and two sisters, Annalee Runge and Elvena Walters, all of Rogers, AR, many nieces, nephews, other extended family and a lifetime of friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be made in Norman's memory to the BGCO Disaster Relief Fund 3800 N. May Ave Oklahoma City, OK 73112-6506. Funeral Services will be held 10AM Saturday June 16, 2012 at North Fork Baptist Church with Bob Haskins and Sam Porter ministering. George Johnson, Bub Osten, Curtis Dixon, Bob Oldham, Dale Richey, Joe Weiss are serving as Casket Bearers. Eric Stock, Ulon Kilmer, Clark Harp, James McMilin are serving as Honorary Casket Bearers. Committal Prayers, Military Honors and Interment will follow at 4PM in the Tuck's Chapel Cemetery, Rogers, AR. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army Honor Guard.
