Frank H. Stiles died at his home Tuesday, April 23, after several weeks severe illness. The funeral services were held at the house Thursday and interment was at the North Barnard Cemetery.

Frank H. Stiles, who died in Barnard on April 24, was well known in Bethel and was frequently see in the village. He was a veteran of the Civil War and was a prisoner in Andersonville.
Funeral services were held Thursday from his late residence in Barnard. He is survived by his widow, Mary (Harding) Stiles, and six children, Mark W. Stiles, Mrs. W. H. Perkins, Mrs. Myrtle White of Royalton, Winnie Stiles of Hartford, Mrs. Grace Gelo of Manchester, New Hampshire, and Hattie Stiles, living at home.
