Judith Rebecca Howard Duncan, 73, widow of Riley Wiebens "Buddy" Duncan, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach.
Mrs. Duncan was born in Mooresville, N.C. on July 31, 1938, a daughter of the late E. Y. Howard and Edna Mae Aiken Howard.
She grew up in Mooresville and graduated from high school there. Mrs. Duncan lived most of her life at Carolina Beach, N.C. before moving to Georgetown and then Conway. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach and was a long time member of Ringel Heights Baptist Church in Georgetown. Mrs. Duncan was an employee of Litus To Let Realty.
Surviving are: a son, Rev. Tim Duncan (Pamela) of Georgetown; four daughters, Debbie Black (Bobby) of Castle Hayne, N.C., Tammy Church (Jim) of Conway, Kim McKinney (David) of Surfside Beach, and Melody Ashton (David) of Edmond, Okla.; 13 grandchildren, Duane, Laura, Jason, Jeremy, Stephanie, Justin, Kristina, Cody, Rex, Chaz, Lauren, Zach, and Josh; seven great-grandchildren, Riley, Zoe, Morgan, Makayla, Jackson, Mailey, and Ashlynn.; and two brothers, Steven Howard of Mooresville, N.C. and Doug Howard of Surfside Beach.
Funeral services will be at eleven o'clock on Saturday morning, June 16, 2012, at Ringel Heights Baptist Church in Georgetown. Burial will follow at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens in Georgetown.
