Mary Jane Davis Johnson, 89, entered into rest June 11, 2012. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Riley B. Davis and their son Donald B. Davis, and her second husband Earl Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Barnwell, S.C. and resided in Augusta. She sold Avon cosmetics for over 30 years. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Senior Circle of Trinity Hospital, Sheffield Fellowship of First Baptist Church of North Augusta, S.C., Widow/Widower Organization and H2U at Doctors Hospital.
She is survived by her sons, Wade R. Davis (Judy), Paul M. Davis (Anya), and
her daughter, Gloria D. Johnson (Wayne) along with 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.
Mrs. Johnson was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She cherished time with her family, traveling and playing bingo. She had a zest for life, and loved spending time with her extended family of friends.
Interment will follow at Saint Paul United Methodist Church in New Ellenton, SC.
