Henry Doering, aged 41 years, and a Lake Shore fireman, died at his home in Elkhart last Friday
He is survived by his wife and one daughter, five brothers: Daniel, John H, George, and Calvin, of Wakarusa; and William, of Goshen; and five sisters: Mrs Guy Vail, and Mrs Enos Newcomer and Mrs John Sloat, of Nappanee, Mrs Geo S Miller and Mrs William Bigler, of Goshen.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at Elkhart the interment being made at Goshen. Mr and Mrs. Enos Newcomer and Mr and Mrs John Sloat and families attended from Nappanee.
Deceased was a member of Nappanee lodge Knights of Pythias.
