Mr. Harrington was born in Macon and was the son of the late Rufus Wayne Harrington and Elzora Allen. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty five years, Liz Harrington. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church for many years. Mr. Harrington was retired from his position as Assistant Chief of Macon Bibb County Fire Department. He was the owner of antique and estate liquidation business for more than sixty years.
Mr. Harrington is survived by; son, Curtis Lamar Harrington, Jr. and his wife, Ann of Long Beach, CA; daughter, Kathy Elise Harrington of Flowery Branch, GA; granddaughter, Veronica Ann Harrington-Myers of Los Angeles, CA; two brothers, Wayne Harrington and Mike Harrington and very dear friend, Mike Spinks of Lizella.
