Mrs. T.L. Porter Passed Away Monday Afternoon
Mrs. T.L. Porter passed away Monday afternoon at a McCook hospital where she had been confined for the past two weeks. Mrs. Porter had been a resident of Alma for many years, during which time she won the admiration and respect of all who knew her and her death cast a gloom over the entire community.
At the time of her death, Mrs. Porter had attained the age of 87 years, 5 months and 2 days.
During her residence in our city she maintained an active part in the welfare of this community, taking an active interest in club work and other civic organizations of the community.
She is survived by five children, three sons and two daughters, other relatives and a host of friends and aquaintances.
Funeral services will be conducted from the family home in this city on Thursday
