Edward Chrysler, 60, former executive of the General Motors Corporation and a brother of Walter P. Chrysler, automobile manufacturer, died here today following an extended illness.

Because of poor health. Chrysler retired from the General Motors Corporation in 1918 and came to California. He lived at Los Angeles until three years ago when he moved to La Jolla.
