Gilbert Brownell
Gilbert L. Brownell, 63, of 1 Hope St., DuBois, died at the Maple Avenue Hospital at 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Friends may call at the Mohney-Yarger Funeral Chapel after 7 p.m. tonight. Daniel Reitz will conduct services from the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Interment will follow in the Lakelawn Memorial Park at Reynoldsville.
Mr. Brownell was born at Galeton, Pa. Jan. 15, 1913, son of Henry L. and Eva (Burritt) Brownell. He was a retired painter.
Survivors are three brothers, Wilfred E., Leslie J. and Paul S. of DuBois; two sisters, Mrs. Don (Betty) Castle of Hillcrest Heights, Md., and Mrs. Willis (Doris) Cole of Warren, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Leona Boring.
