Margaret Mary Robinson was born August 26, 1926 in Silver Creek, Iowa (Delaware County), daughter of Milton Montgomery Robinson and Sara A. McRoberts.

The 1940 Federal Census for Prairie, Iowa (Delaware County) shows Margaret Robinson, age 13, born in Iowa; living with her father, Milton Robinson, a farmer, age 45, born in Iowa; and her mother, Sara, age 39, born in Iowa. Also living in the household were Margaret's siblings: Raymond, age 17; Wayne, age 15; John, age 11; Howard, age 9; Virginia, age 6; Lois, age 5; and Carol, age 0; all born in Iowa.

On December 19, 1948 in Adams, Iowa (Delaware County), Margaret married Glenn William Searcy, who was born October 30, 1917 in Rossville, Kansas (Shawnee County), son of Roy William Searcy (1889-1957) and Rosa Emily Butts (1886-1920). Margaret was a missionary and her husband was a minister.

Glenn died September 11, 1992 in Paris, Texas (Lamar County) and was buried in the Odd Fellow Cemetery in Antlers, Oklahoma (Pushmataha County).

Margaret subsequently married Elbert Wipf. Margaret died December 1, 2005 and was buried beside her first husband, Glenn Searcy.

Margaret Mary Robinson Searcy Wipf, 79, of Owasso, Oklahoma, formerly of Manchester, Coggon, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Thursday, December 1, 2005, in an Owasso nursing home after an illness. Graveside services were December 2, 2005 in Antlers, Oklahoma. Pastor David Philips of Paris, Texas, officiated. Arrangements were with Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso, Oklahoma.

Survivors include her husband, Elbert; two sons, David Searcy in Indonesia and Dan Searcy of Bixby, Oklahoma; a stepdaughter, Deborah Wipf of Owasso, Oklahoma; three stepsons, Donald Wipf of Claremore, Olahoma; Randy Wipf of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; and Timothy Wipf of Owasso, Oklahoma; a brother, Howard Robinson of Victor; and two sisters, Virginia Robinson of Manchester and Lois Reinboth of Rogers, Arkansas.
