Alfred Uzeb LaFountain, 76 years old, passed away Friday, October 23rd, at his home at 2319 Oakley Avenue in Kansas City. He was born in Canada and came to Kansas City in 1882.
His first wife, Mary Belle, passed away in 1926. Alfred leaves his second wife, Mrs. Elizabeth LaFountain, of Shawnee, Kansas; three daughters, Mrs. Albert Deuser of 1604 Drury Avenue, Mrs. Loretta Felich of 1505 Elmwood Avenue and Mrs. Florence Hale of 4117 Troost Avenue; his sister, Miss Azelie LaFountain, of 3012 Jackson Avenue, and two brothers, Henry LaFountain of 321 North 16th Street in Kansas City, Kas., and L. J. LaFountain of Pomona, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at the Blackman Chapel followed by interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.
