Entertainment attorney, once called the most important lawyer in the U.S. He represented various studios including MGM, Columbia and RKO. He was also referred to as the most powerful Jew in Los Angeles next to Rabbi Edgar Magnin. Silberberg was known as Hollywood's 'Jewish fixer' helping to solve, quell and/or change attitudes of the Jewish people during the Black Listing period and to encourage the Jewish people to contribute to Jewish charities, etc. He was one of the people at Paul Bern's house immediately following his suicide before police arrived and was a pallbearer at Louis B. Mayer's funeral. He was a Delegate to the Republican Presidential Conventions in 1948, 1952, 1956 and 1960 and was a District Commander for the American Legion.
