Miss Anderson was found to of had three types of of this dreaded disease--- bulbar, spinal, and encephalitis. She is the first child of this county known to of died from polio.
She was an "A" student at Vinita High School, a member of the girls chorus for three years, band for three years, and also served on the student council as a class officer.
Outside of school, she was a member of the Rainbow for Girls organization and a member of the First Christian Church.
She is survived by her parents, Leo and Margaret Anderson of 526 N. Thompson St.; grandparents, Otis A. & Goldie Anderson, 548 N. Thompson St.; and grandmother, Mrs. J.W. Hall, 125 S. Miller St.
Luginbuel Brothers Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
