Vincent H. Parr Sr., 70, Leavenworth, died Jan. 28, 1991, at Trinity Lutheran Hospital. He was born in Kickapoo, Kan., and lived in Leavenworth most of his life. Mr. Parr was a steelworker and welder for the Leavenworth Steel Co. for 42 years, retiring in 1986, and was a member of the Boilermakers Union. He was a past member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Kickapoo. Survivors include his wife, Darlene L. Parr of the home; a son, Vincent H. Parr Jr., Lansing; three daughters, Pat Hundley, Jane Metz and Doreen Lewis of Leavenworth; three brothers, Louis R. Parr, Lansing, and Wilfred Parr and Francis Parr of Leavenworth; two sisters, Clara Pellman and Ruth Riepenkroger of Leavenworth; and six grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Belden Chapel, Leavenworth; burial in the Kickapoo Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.

The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
