As a child, Delmer had a nickname. He was called "Dellie". I found this out while going through some old letters sent to: Delmer, from: his mother "Belle".

The family lived in Belle Vally, Ohio for a while - but later moved to 280 Fifth Street; Byesville, Ohio. (One of the photographs, on this page, shows the Byesville house in the background.)

CAUSE OF DEATH: Prostate & Bladder Cancers.

OCCUPATION: Plasterer-(this was his trade) & Laborer.

Religion & Music were an important part of this family.

SPECIAL NOTE
Delmer started the tradition of the "CAIN" Family Reunion (Anually). At first, it was held in his back yard. After the family grew, they eventually moved the "CAIN" Family Reunion to the local park in Byesville, Ohio (at the pavillion). The "CAIN" Family Reunion is a pot-luck picnic, held the FOURTH Saturday in July. (Sealocks, Brunners & other Related Families have joined this celebration over the years.) The "CAIN" Family Reunions have been taking place for 60 years (or more).
Delmer is not with us anymore - but his "CAIN" Family Reunions live-on.
