Joseph Lee La More, 92, of Riverton and formerly of California died Monday morning, June 11, 2012 at the Wind River Health Care.

According to his wishes, his cremation will take place and there will be no local services. His cremated remains will be entombed with his wife in the Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, California.

Mr. La More was born in Lincoln County, Wisconsin to Fred and Elizabeth (Torrey) La More. He served in the U.S. Army and the Wisconsin National Guard. He worked in Civil Service at the El Toro Marine Base in Orange County, California.

He is survived two daughters, Jaye Baker and husband James of Riverton and Julie Riccelli of Ohio; grandchildren, Sarah Didion of Ohio, Rebecca Larson of Illinois, and Elizabeth Sanders, of Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce A. La More; his parents; and six siblings.
