WAHOO-Funeral services for Louis Kavan, 95, were at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo. Mr. Kavan, a retired farmer, died Monday night in Wahoo.
He was born September 25, 1888 in Valparaiso and lived there until 1946 when he moved to Wahoo.
Mr. Kavan married the former Anna Woita on October 21, 1912, in Plasi. She died November 5, 1976.
Survivors include a son, Stanley, of Valparaiso; two daughters, Elsie (George) Hellerick of Valparaiso and Celestine Polacek of Wahoo; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Douglas Fuller officiated.Svoboda Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial in the St. Vitus Cemetery in Touhy.
