He is survived by two sons, Alva Bryant, Sano Route, and Elmer Bryant, St. Petersburg, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Rutha Bailey and Mrs. Ruby Conover, both of Sano Route, and Mrs. Bertha Conover, Garlin; one brother, Jessie Bryant of Arkansas, and one sister, Mrs. Ida Bryant, Danville, Ill.
The Reverend J.H. Bloyd conducted the funeral services on Tuesday, May 21, at the Freedom Separate Baptist Church. Interment was in the church cemetery. The body remained at Stotts & Phelps Funeral Home until Monday afternoon.
Joe Conover, Joseph Conover, Buford Bailey, Marvin Conover, Marvin Bryant, and Hubert Bryant served as pallbearers.
